Get to know Sara

Sara “officially” started in the fitness industry after receiving her BS from Wake Forest University in Exercise Science in 2010 but her passion for exercise started as a child involved with athletics from a young age. Sara also spent 9 years as a commissioned Army Officer and combines all her background experiences to create unique workouts for all her clients. Sara has worked with clients ranging in age from 12-92 and loves working to help clients get the most out of themselves.

Q & A

What are your hobbies?

Cooking, learning about wine, chasing around my two sons, and watching or attending as many Nationals games a possible!

Name one place you’d love to visit someday.

Travel with two babies is not exactly fun these days so I’ll settle for a kid free night at a hotel in Old Town.

How did you get interested in fitness?

I was always active and involved with sports as a kid and it felt like a natural choice for me to study Exercise Science in college.

What advice do you give clients that you completely ignore?

Drink more water and get as much sleep as possible.

How much ya bench?

No idea but I bet I can get two kids wrangled into carseats and the car unloaded from the grocery store faster than you can.
